Honda, one of the prominent automobile manufacturers in India is planning to launch three new models in the Indian automobile market by the end of the year 2015. The company is planning to go full throttle as they are anticipating increase in sales volume in the Asian markets. Several other plans are also in the pipeline with an aim to project the company in the Indian sector and make the most of the boom being anticipated in the year 2014.
The latest car under the aegis of Honda is Honda City which is one of the highest selling cars from the company and is launched in diesel variant. New petrol variant model is also going to be launched. It is believed that both models will be offering improved fuel efficiencies. This car will be soon followed by another car from Honda, called Mobilio which is going to be a multi-purpose vehicle. Next will be Jazz, a hatchback in the premium range. All these cars will come with newly developed diesel engines which are also being used in Amaze. Amaze is also getting rave reviews from industry critics for its multitude of features and advantages.
Focus on Asian markets
The company has shifted its focus on the Asian markets and anticipates that half of its production will be consumed in Indonesian and Indian markets. The company is also planning to expand its range of vehicles and as part of this plan, the company is launching 3 new models in India by the end of 2015. The company is also planning to ramp up its Research and Development department so as to find out ways for lowering costs. Indian market is becoming increasingly appealing and attractive for many automobile manufacturers including Honda, a company from Japan.
